Focus on some off-road applications
While the use of ‘simple’ ladders has been prohibited since 1 September 2004 under Decree No. 2004-924 (see table of standards), Aerostep® has been validated by major users such as Free, Orange and the SNCF as the solution for temporary* work at height when aerial platforms or scaffolding cannot be used.
It offers a host of advantages:
- Equipped with transport wheels and an optional rolling trolley, it can be used in all types of terrain (rural areas that are difficult to access, forested areas, narrow urban areas, etc.): it goes where the aerial platform cannot reach.
- Lightweight and easy to handle, it can be set up by a single operative.
- Individually adjustable X-shaped telescopic legs ensure even weight distribution. The Aerostep is therefore self-supporting, independently of any supporting breakage such as wooden posts (NFE 85-211 compliance).
- The regulatory workstation is ergonomic and safe, with a non-slip floor and a fold-down guardrail.
- It is quick to install (less than 3 minutes), which means it can be moved quickly from point to point.
The Aerostep® must be fitted with its X-shaped stabilising legs to enable it to be self-supporting and to provide complete safety for the operator. Once fully installed, this safe workstation ladder is extremely effective, allowing access and work in difficult areas.
