Audinnov's DNA is to develop safety equipment for specific markets to meet customer needs.
Whether improving existing equipment or developing new solutions, the equipment is designed to be safe, solid, ergonomic and repairable thanks to reversible assemblies. All our products are made in France.

SNCF RESEAU called on Audinnov to design a robust, insulating double ladder to replace the wooden equipment used by catenary teams for maintenance, inspection and monitoring of catenaries.
The composite EMIC (mobile catenary intervention equipment), which was launched in March 2024, attracted a great deal of interest at the 1st national Catenary Tooling Forum organised by SNCF RESEAU last June. Compliant with NF EN 50528, EMIC has become a solution that has been adapted and validated by SNCF RESEAU's catenary agents.
Consisting of a double sliding fibre ladder mounted on an SNCF-type Lorry, it can be adapted to SNCF Network-approved equipment.
The equipment will be presented at the Innotrans trade fair in Berlin in September.

The advantages of the EMIC (mobile catenary intervention equipment) :
- This new solution is 30% lighter than wooden ladders, with a load capacity of 2 x 150 kg.
- Thanks to its 2 sliding composite levels, it allows a working height of between 4.43 m and 6.20 m (plus the height of the rails).
- It has a number of features for optimum stability and maximum safety for operators.
- The composite material eliminates any play caused by the wood. It is also perfectly insulating.
- It is fitted with a system that enables it to be deployed by a single operator.
- It is compatible with SNCF RESEAU-approved equipment (Strapkors floor, deadman brakes, use of the lifeline to access work platforms equipped with collective protection, etc.)
‘There was a strong demand in the field for fibre composite ladders to replace the existing wooden ladders. We had been working with AUDINNOV for more than 10 years, so we decided to call on them for this development project because they have a strong capacity for innovation and are good at listening to customers’.‘In addition to the regulatory aspect represented by the EN 50528-compliant fibre ladders, the development of these ladders has enabled us to manufacture new, safer equipment, with considerable weight savings.’
