Ergonomics and safety:
Equipped with 4 large multi-directional wheels, this inter-timber is very manoeuvrable and safe. In fact, 2 braking systems are available: independent braked wheels or mechanised wheels that can be retracted by a single lever to prevent climbing*. Side stabilisers enhance safety when using the 4 and 5-step versions.
It offers a long, non-slip work platform, secured by an automatic return gate.
The Batistep stairway is available with 3, 4 or 5 wide (18 cm), non-slip steps.
Functionality:
In terms of functionality and ergonomics, the arch of the chassis facilitates the passage of scrap metal on standby and makes it easy to step over obstacles, for optimum manoeuvrability.
Comprising two retractable half-rails, the between-rails section offers 3 different configurations depending on the type of work to be carried out. For example, it can be used to pass through doorways up to 2 m high.
Its dimensions, 60 x 120 cm, make it easy to work between tightly packed panels and to pass through doors with great ease of movement.
A single crane ring saves time and energy when moving the equipment.

Braked wheels :
The FC version (with brakes) is considered a safe mobile work platform with 4 independently braked multidirectional wheels. Simply press down with your foot to lock each wheel for safe working.
This solution is available in 3, 4 and 5-step versions.
Retractable wheels:
The patented innovation of the Batistep RC safety platform is based on retractable wheels, making it easy and intuitive to manoeuvre.
Its centralised lever allows the wheels to be extended or retracted in a single movement, without bending down, thus avoiding the risk of RSI. When the PIRL is on wheels, access to the platform is mechanically blocked by the lever, encouraging users to securely brake the equipment before accessing it. It's a simple, intuitive system, so you don't forget to be safe.
The retractable wheel version is available in 4 and 5 step versions.
