Feedback on  the industrialisation phase in one of Europe's largest data centres!

Sovereignty in the hosting of IT data is now a priority for many companies and public bodies. As a result, the construction of data centres is booming in Europe, and particularly in France.

For the companies building or maintaining these complex new facilities, making work at height safe is a major challenge, and they need to respond with innovative solutions.

A new market

For this growing market, our design office has been working since 2024 with the major players in the segment to design a dedicated range: Datastep®.

After drawing up specifications with our customers in the sector and studying the technical and ergonomic requirements, we tested the first secure platforms dedicated to data centres.

The programme included

Meetings with technicians, managers and safety officers,
Real-life trials,
Discussions on solutions and validation of improvements.

A fruitful collaboration that led to the development of perfectly adapted equipment.

Datastep® LDM: lightweight and ultra-manoeuvrable

Available in 3 models, with 3 to 5 steps, it offers a working height of 2.60 m to 3.05 m, with a 420 x 480 mm workstation.
It is fitted with a tool basket and guards to minimise the effects of any impact when used between computer cabinets or against doors in hot or cold zones.
Its compact size and manoeuvrability mean it can be used anywhere.

Datastep® DRC: compact, with a large work platform

Available in 4 models: 4 and 5 steps and 2 workstation lengths, 1 m or 1.50 m for a width of 42 cm.
This long work station makes it easy to work sideways and gives you access to a large work area. It can also accommodate bulky tools if required.
Thanks to its 4 multi-directional wheels, this Datastep is extremely manoeuvrable and can be slid in and out of the way for operations that are perfectly safe for both staff and equipment.
